This used to be just the Old News page. Now it's been expanded for some other things. Mostly this is just the unimportant stuff I didn't feel like completely deleting.
Don't worry, the old news is still here... I'm not sure why you need it, but I left it up here anyway.
This is the snowflake demo that appeared on Christmas of 2004. Nobody wants to wait over half a year just for some eye candy, so even though it'll be back every winter, I left it here too. Use the buttons to stop and start the snow. Please note that the animation is quite a heavy load on the processor, even for modern computers. Snowflakes were made with POV-Ray and the GIMP. One other thing... you may need to scroll back up to the top of the page to see them.
Google had an idea I just couldn't resist. Here are some of the holiday logos that have been displayed before. I keep them relatively small, so even dial-up users shouldn't have too much of a problem viewing these.
It's possible but unlikely that I ever make a birthday logo; May 31 is an awkward day for myself, and it's too close to Memorial Day to begin with.
I didn't want to remove this either, but it's really not as useful or relevant as it was when it was made. I also realize they're not that well written, but I probably won't edit them, since they're not so important anymore. If you still wish to see the pages, use the links below.
